Compassion:: the new fashion

I feel really strongly about living with morals and having compassion for others.

If you’ve read my previous posts, it’s no secret that I’m a vegetarian, I’m a strong believer in animal rights and this is something that we should take more seriously in the fashion and beauty industry.

We own leather items and purchase beauty products that are tested on animals and we probably don’t even realise it. As a whole, we are so naive to the reality of the world and that makes it easier, ignorance is bliss right?

Just because you cannot see it doesn’t mean it’s not happening.

Once we open our eyes to see the reality of what is happening in the world, only then we can begin to make a difference.
As human beings, we are influencers. We have a choice and we can have an impact.

In the words of Ricky Gervais:

“Animals don’t have a voice. But I do. A loud one. I’m a fucking big mouth. My voice is for them and I’ll never shut up while they suffer”.

What gives us the right to allow mis-treatment of another living being? Why would we want to own that overpriced leather carcass? Why did that bunny have to suffer for our lipstick to have the right shade? Fur coats looks bloody awful anyway!
This is a little different to one of my usual posts but this is something I feel very strong passionate about. I feel like if one person can change their perception after reading this, then we are one step closer.

As human beings and influencers let’s have an impact and make compassion the new fashion
