5 Beauty Hacks using a BANANA PEEL

Yes you read that right, once you have eaten your banana you can the use the peel for beauty purposes.

Bananas are packed with nutrients making it a healthy addition to your diet but the banana peel also has fantastic purposes

  • Lighten dark circles under eyes
    • Scrape the white fibers from the inside of the banana peel (using a butter knife or spoon)
    • Mix with a teaspoon of Aloe Vera gel in a bowl until it turns into paste
    • Spread around the eyes and leave for 30 minutes, allowing the skin to soak the moisture from both ingredients
    • Wash off with cold water
    • Repeat weekly
  • Whiten your teeth
    There are many natural ways to whiten your teeth, rubbing [the inside of] a banana peel on your teeth for one minute per day will help lighten the enamel in your teeth.
  • Fade appearance of scars
    • Rub the inside of a banana peel over the scar
    • Allow the moisture from the banana to try on your skin (roughly 5 minutes)
    • Once dry, wash off with cold water
    • Repeat daily
